On Friday, May 23, 2025, ECONOSTO Oy hosted an open house event at its Sorsasalo facility in Kuopio to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary. The event attracted numerous professionals from the industrial sector.
KLINGER and AUMA experts participated in the event
As part of KLINGER Finland, ECONOSTO welcomed experts from KLINGER who showcased products related to camera surveillance systems, palletizing and marking automation solutions, and flange assembly training. KLINGER’s own trade container was also on display. Additionally, specialists from AUMA presented electric actuators for valves.
Automation highlights – Cobot and marking device as main attractions
A technological highlight of the event was the collaborative robot (cobot) from Universal Robots, demonstrating palletizing and marking automation solutions. The robot’s smooth and precise movements illustrated how automation can effectively support production processes.
Another popular attraction was the inkjet marking device, which allowed visitors to personalize pens with their own text. Nearly 100 unique pens were created during the day. The showcased flange assembly training also garnered interest, with discussions revealing a demand for such training in many companies.
Encounters, tastes and something to take away from the event
The event had a relaxed and informal atmosphere, where participants and Econosto staff had good conversations and had a lively discussion about the products on display. The experience was complemented by delicious hot dogs served by Hodarikoju, made from locally sourced ingredients from Northern Savonia. For dessert, guests enjoyed strawberry cake and coffee.
Upon departure, visitors received ECONOSTO caps and fishing line and float sets as souvenirs for their upcoming summer fishing trips.
